Many vehicles lock from the key fob but have no intrusion protection at all. If someone opens a door, nothing happens.
An upgrade alarm adds that missing layer. It's wired into the vehicle and armed from your existing remote, so there's nothing new to carry and nothing to remember. We fit alarms to cars, vans and motorhomes on your drive or at your yard.
An alarm works best as part of a layered setup. Pair it with Ghost immobiliser fitting to stop the vehicle being driven away, and add Thatcham approved trackers if you want the best chance of getting it back.

No. The Autowatch 695 works from your vehicle's original remote, so you lock and unlock exactly as you do now. An extra Autowatch remote can be added if you want one.
Category 2-1 is Thatcham's category for an electronic alarm. Thatcham says a Category 2-1 alarm is combined with an existing Category 2 immobiliser to reach Category 1. Most modern cars and vans already have a factory immobiliser, so adding a Category 2-1 alarm brings the vehicle up to Category 1 status.
