1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer, tablet or phone. Under UK law, we need your permission for any cookie that isn't strictly necessary for the site to work.

2. Your choice

When you first visit, a banner asks what you'd like to allow. Nothing optional runs until you choose, and rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link, which is also at the bottom of every page.

3. Strictly necessary cookies

These are always on, because the site needs them:

av_consent remembers your cookie choice for six months.
AACMANAGE keeps our own staff signed in to the website's management area. Visitors never receive it.

4. Analytics cookies (optional)

If you allow them, we use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, such as which pages people visit. Google sets these cookies:

_ga tells visitors apart, for up to two years.
_ga_* keeps track of your visit, for up to two years.

5. Marketing cookies and third-party content (optional)

If you allow them, we use Google Ads to measure when one of our adverts leads to a phone call or an enquiry. Google sets these cookies:

_gcl_au and other _gcl_* cookies link a visit to the advert that brought you here, for up to three months.

The vehicle lookup on our ECU remapping page comes from Quantum Tuning's website, and Quantum may set its own cookies when it loads. It only loads if you allow this category or click to load it. Quantum's own policies cover how it uses them.

Other services we use

Our fonts come from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to fetch them. That shares your IP address with Google, but we don't use it to set cookies. Our Google rating and reviews are collected by our own server, so showing them sets no Google cookies in your browser.

6. Controlling cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, we can't remember your choice, so the banner will show each time you visit. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
